The Diamondbacks have agreed to a $40M, four-year deal with Martin Prado just a week after acquiring the former All-Star infielder in a trade that sent Justin Upton to the Braves, according to an ESPN.com report on Thursday.
Chase Headley and the Padres have avoided salary arbitration, agreeing on an $8,575,000, one-year contract that gives the San Diego third baseman a $5.1M raise following his huge 2012 season, according to an ESPN.com report on Wednesday.
The Mets have agreed to a one-year, $2.9 million contract with David Murphy.
The agreement allowed the two sides to avoid arbitration.

The Mets have added Scott Atchison to their bullpen mix with a minor league contract.
Atchison, 36, appeared in 42 games for the Red Sox last season, going 2-1 with a 1.58 ERA.
New York will have no shortage of arms competing for bullpen jobs this spring. Atchison figures to battle Greg Burke, Jeurys Familia, Jenrry Mejia and Elvin Ramirez, among others.
The Mariners have agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal with Kelly Shoppach, pending a physical.
The contract will pay Shoppach a base salary of $1.5 million with an opportunity to earn an additional $500,000 in incentives, according to a source.

Garcia has a chance to compete for a spot in a rotation that includes Edinson Volquez, Clayton Richard, Jason Marquis, Eric Stults and Tyson Ross.
The Cardinals have agreed to a one-year, $1.15 million contract with Ronny Cedeno.
Cedeno gives St. Louis insurance in case shortstop Rafael Furcal has problems returning from an elbow injury that sidelined him late last season.
He can earn an additional $850,000 in performance bonuses under Monday's deal: $170,000 each for 200, 250, 300, 250 and 400 plate appearances.
The Rays have agreed to a one-year contract with Kelly Johnson, according to a report.
The financial terms of the deal are not yet known.
Johnson hit just .225/.313/.365 with 16 homers and 14 stolen bases for the Blue Jays last season. He's two years removed from a .284/.370/.496 showing with the Diamondbacks.
The Padres have agreed to a one-year, $3.2 million contract with Luke Gregerson, according to the pitcher's agent.
Gregerson was 2-0 with a 2.39 ERA in 77 relief appearances last season, striking out 72 in 71 1-3 innings. He made $1.55 million.
